Informed before joining
Purpose, duration and who will see the material are stated plainly before a respondent enters a study.
Data commitments
Research runs on people's personal information. We are writing these commitments down now, while the platform is still being built, so they shape it rather than get bolted on before a procurement review.
Respondents
Purpose, duration and who will see the material are stated plainly before a respondent enters a study.
Agreeing to participate is not agreeing to be recorded. We ask twice, and a refusal does not end participation.
Respondents can leave a study mid-session and request removal of their material afterwards.
Incentives are honoured for anyone who attends, including respondents who withdraw or are screened out on arrival.
Security
Recordings and transcripts sit behind the same controls as the rest of the project, not in a shared drive.
A client stakeholder and a field moderator do not get the same view of a respondent record.
Who opened what, and when. Available to you for your own projects.
Respondent contact details are held apart from response data, so analysis never requires identifying anyone.
Retention
Retention windows are agreed per project rather than set by default. When the window closes, respondent data goes with it.
SET PER PROJECT
Agreed at contracting, documented in the project record, and applied automatically.
DELETION
Respondents and clients can both request deletion. We confirm in writing when it is done.
Compliance
Being honest about this: EQLOV is pre-launch and holds very little respondent data so far. Nothing below is a certification. These are the standards we are building to and will be held to. If your procurement team needs evidence rather than intent, tell us and we will say plainly what exists today.
Consent, purpose limitation and data principal rights are being designed into how studies are set up and run.
The intended standard for international clients and any fieldwork touching EU data subjects. Not yet independently assessed.
Fieldwork run to established market research standards on respondent treatment and data handling.
NDAs, DPAs and project-specific terms handled at contracting, not after fieldwork starts.
Questions
If your procurement team has a standard assessment, send it over. We will complete it honestly, including the rows where the answer is not yet.
